Administration

Message from the CEO

On behalf of the Saskatchewan Healthcare Employees' Pension Plan (SHEPP) administrative team, I would like to welcome you to our website.

In everything we do at SHEPP, we have our members' best interests in mind. Whether it's managing and investing the Plan's assets, or providing exceptional service to our members, people are at the heart of everything we do, and we are constantly pushing for excellence in the way we administer the Plan.

That mindset is reflected in the pages of this website. Over the last number of years, SHEPP has been working very hard to improve our online services so that our members can more easily understand and manage their pension. In 2017, another major milestone in this push for excellence was reached as we successfully launched all new SHEPPWeb portals for pensioners and deferred members. Now, all SHEPP members are able to login to SHEPPWeb to easily update their personal information, view important pension statements and access important pension tools and resources.

SHEPP continues to look for ways to expand and improve the member experience, whether it's through our website, our traditional publications or the human-to-human interactions we have with members every day. We hope that you find this website to be a reflection of our push for excellence in this regard. Thanks for visiting the site.

Sincerely,

Alison McKay, Chief Executive Officer

Strategic Plan

SHEPP's 2017-2021 Strategic Plan sets the priorities of the organisation and helps to focus our energy so we are working together toward common goals. Three important strategic goals have been identified as priorities for the Plan over the next five years:

  1. Enhance the long-term viability of the Plan by executing innovative strategies that protect the interests of the Plan and its members.
  2. Strengthen the relationship with the Partner Committees by enhancing communications, striving to educate and inform while encouraging effectiveness that benefits all Plan members.
  3. Maintain and enhance SHEPP's position as an industry leader by driving a culture of excellence and resilience.
